Afternoon Desert Safari
The group departs from the hotel in 4WD vehicles and head further into the desert for an adventure of a lifetime. The serine atmosphere; the expanse of desert landscape with its changing hues and sculptured dunes makes this an experience worthy of its protected status.
Tame the Dunes in a Dune Buggy
A unique experience for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. Begin a truly exhilarating adventure in the desert, where you roar across sand dunes on the latest, fully automatic two-seater, off-road buggy. After an initial briefing, the instructor leads the convoy along a set trail among the dunes. Following your guide, drive through the windblown, natural trail of the dunes.
Rides and Slides
Sand skiing in the desert! The contrast between age-old Bedouin traditions and one of the world’s newest sports makes this an unforgettable adventure.
After leaving Dubai in a 4x4 car, a camel caravan will meet us deep in the desert, for a half-hour ride across the spectacular red dunes of Margham.
Desert Champagne Sunset
Here, the sparkling drink serves as a fitting goodbye to the Arabian sunset as it slowly fades away into the dunes, and signals a warm welcome to the arrival of a million stars in the night skies of the desert. They add the Arabian flavour to this experience with a fascinating and interactive falcon display that only has to be witnessed to understand.
Falcon Demonstration
During the medieval period, wealthy Sheikhs and rulers were the only people who could afford to keep and fly these handsome birds, and falconry became known as an exclusive ‘sport of kings.’ However on this day out in the middle of the desert, guests can gauge the strength, skills and supreme prowess of these birds for themselves, at an intimate encounter.
Camel Caravan
Riding across the desert and over the spectacular red dunes on camelback, you will experience sensations like never before. Enjoy a short ride from the sunset stop to the campsite and guests will have the opportunity to view the dunes from a different angle altogether.
1001 Arabian Nights
Following your private Sunset Champagne Stop, a shimmering mirage in the distance will have flickering lights guiding you to a traditional Arabian Bedouin Camp. The encampment conjures up images of the Arabian nights. As the vehicles approach the campsite will come alive in the dark stillness with fire torches. Inside, rows of shamianas (open Arabic tents) await guests, decorated richly with traditional tapestry, brass artefacts, floor cushions and low rectangular tables.
